Shared Prayer

Father of light, in whom there is no darkness You hear the voice of Your people when they cry out from affliction, and no pit is too deep for Your mercy. For it is written, You heard Jonah when he cried to You, so we come with honest hearts and we call on You. Strengthen the believer who feels trapped by fear, weighed down by bills, or worn out from caring for others. Break the pressure of shame and silence, and give courage to confess sin and return to You with a clean heart. Let faith rise where despair has spoken loud, and let hope stand up again in weary souls. We declare that we are more than conquerors through him that loves us, because You do not turn away from the cries of the righteous. Thank You for hearing, for answering, and for holding Your people with faithful love. Let it be to us according to Your word. Amen.
