Shared Prayer

Gracious Father We praise You, for You alone are able to keep us from falling, and we bow before Your glory with joy. You are the God who holds Your people securely, and Your word promises that You will present us faultless before the presence of Your glory with exceeding joy. We confess that we are weak and easily shaken, pressed by temptation, weariness, and the fear of failing You. Yet Scripture declares that all power belongeth unto God, so we rest in the strength that keeps us, not in our own. Guard our feet, settle our hearts, and hold us fast when pressure comes. We break agreement with every lie that we are too far gone to be kept and restored. Make us stand, Lord, because it is Your will to bring Your people safely into Your presence. Thank You for the joy You have prepared for all who are kept by Your power. Thank You for never loosening Your grip on us. Blessed be the name of the Lord, forevermore. Amen.
