Shared Prayer

Father of light, in whom there is no darkness You are good, restoring, and full of mercy, and we worship You for the life You give to weary souls. It is written that they that dwell under his shadow shall return, revive, and grow. Draw us back from wandering, and keep us close to You when fear, weakness, or discouragement try to pull us away. Breathe fresh life into what feels dry within us, and cause holy growth where there has been delay, heaviness, or loss of strength. Teach us to remain where Your covering is, to choose what pleases You, and to trust Your care more than our feelings. God is faithful, and we believe You will restore, revive, and make us fruitful again. Thank You for not casting us off, and for Your patient love that brings us back and raises us up. Let your name be glorified O Lord. Amen.
