Shared Prayer

God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ I lift my heart to You before I sleep, and I praise You for who You are. You are Jehovah El Shaddai, the God who is more than enough, and there is no trial too heavy for Your hand. As Psalm 42:8 says, You command Your lovingkindness in the day time, and in the night Your song is with me, and my prayer goes up to the God of my life. So I bring this night prayer to You, honestly, with the weight of what I am walking through. I do not know how everything will turn out, but I know Your love for me does not move. I belong to You, and nothing in this trial can change whose I am. I ask You to quiet my thoughts, guard my rest, and fill this night with Your song. Teach me to walk in obedience to Your will while I wait for what You have promised. Even when I cannot trace the way forward, I believe all things are working together for my good. Thank You for loving me through the dark hours and for the hope You are keeping for my future. Amen, and Amen.
