Shared Prayer

God of hope You are great and greatly to be praised, and Your greatness is beyond searching out. I praise You as God Almighty, the One who holds my future and never grows weary of my voice. Psalm 145 tells me that You are near to all who call upon You, to all who call upon You in truth, and so I come to You honestly, without pretending I am stronger than I feel. Under the weight of this trial, I need to know You are close, and Your word settles it. I will not measure Your love by how hard things are right now. I count it all joy, believing that You are with me in this and that Your mercy is over all You have made. Teach me to want what You want, and to walk in obedience to Your will while I wait. The Lord God is with me, so my hope does not depend on what I can see. Thank You for hearing me, for holding me as Your own, and for a future secured by Your unshakable love. I trust You completely, in Jesus' name. Blessed be the name of the Lord, From this time forth and forevermore. Amen.
