Shared Prayer

O Lord God Your Word declares that as death came through Adam, life comes through Christ, and in Him we are made alive. Many of Your people feel numb inside, weighed down by sin, shame, and grief, and some stand by hospital beds or fresh graves. We confess our sins to You, cleanse us, and breathe Your life into our faith again. Strengthen our hope in the resurrection of Jesus, so fear of death and fear of the future lose their grip. Let the life of Christ rule our thoughts and choices, and raise our love when we feel empty. We stand on Your promise, it is written, in Christ we shall be made alive. We thank You for eternal life that cannot be taken, for it is written, Your word is true and You keep it. In Jesus' glorious name. Amen.
