Shared Prayer

Father of light, in whom there is no darkness You are holy and generous, and we praise You for making Your heart known through Your Son. Our Lord Jesus called His disciples friends and made known to them all that He heard from You. Draw us into faithful friendship with Christ, where we listen to His word, obey Your will, and trust what He reveals. When loneliness, confusion, or shame tells us that we are distant and unknown, in the name of Jesus Christ, silence that lie and remind us that we are welcomed by grace. We declare that we will walk as friends of Jesus, not hiding from His truth or resisting His loving instruction. Thank You for not leaving us in darkness, but bringing us into fellowship with Your Son and sharing the truth that leads us in Your way. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen.
