Shared Prayer

Faithful Father We praise You for Your gentle care over our lives, for You are good to everyone You have made. You make us to lie down in green pastures, and You lead us beside the still waters. We are not left to wander, and we are not left to drive ourselves until nothing remains in us. The Lord is our shepherd, we shall not want, and we trust You to supply what our souls truly need. You have promised to shepherd Your people, and what You have spoken You will surely do. When we are weary and afraid to stop, quiet our hearts and give us real rest. For it is written that You feed Your flock like a shepherd, so we will follow where You lead and lie down where You give us peace. Thank You for feeding us, for calming our fears, and for staying close to us when we are weak and have little left to give. We will rejoice in the Lord always. Amen.
