Shared Prayer

God of all grace We praise You, for You are rich in mercy and Your hand is mighty to save. Your word calls us to humble ourselves under Your mighty hand, so that You may lift us up in due time. We bow before You now, laying down our pride, our need to prove ourselves, and our rush to force open doors You have not opened. We bind every spirit of pride and self reliance that keeps us from resting under Your care. Jesus said that all things are possible to them that believeth, and we believe You are able to raise up the lowly at the hour You have appointed. Where we feel overlooked, forgotten, or weighed down by burdens heavier than our strength, teach us to trust the timing You have purposed rather than our own. Thank You for the kindness of a Father who sees every hidden act of faithfulness. We will wait on You, humble and unashamed. Blessed be Your holy name. Amen.
