Shared Prayer

Almighty Father You are worthy of my first words and my highest praise, God Almighty, El Shaddai, more than enough for every day I will ever live. As Psalm 5 says, You hear my voice in the morning, and in the morning I direct my prayer to You and look up. So I lift my eyes above the pressures I am carrying and I fix my hope on You. I do not know all that lies ahead, but I know who holds it, and I know I belong to You in Christ. When trials press in and my heart grows heavy, Your love does not shift or fade. I ask You to strengthen my faith, order my steps according to Your will, and keep me looking up instead of looking around at my fears. Your word declares that the Lord God is with me, so I refuse to face this future alone or afraid. In the name of Jesus I stand on Your promise that You hear me every time I call. Thank You for meeting me at the start of each day, and thank You for a hope that will not disappoint me. My trust is in You alone. Blessed be Your holy name. Amen.
