Shared Prayer

Heavenly Father Your Word calls us to be still and to know that You are God, exalted among the nations and exalted in all the earth. Many of Your people are surrounded by noise, alarms, bad reports, and the pressure to react in fear. Teach those under attack, those displaced, and those cut off from help to quiet their souls before You. Because all power belongeth unto God, we refuse panic, we submit our thoughts, and we rest our bodies in Your rule. Speak peace within us by the power of the Word, and hold our hearts when we cannot control what is happening around us. Lift our eyes from the storm of information and sorrow, and fix them on Your greatness. Thank You for being God over every land and every crisis, and for hearing the prayers of Your saints. In Jesus' mighty name. Amen.
