Shared Prayer

Our Father We praise You because You do not change. Generations rise and pass away, but You remain the same, and Your mercy has never failed. You are the Lord, and You change not, and because of this Your people are not consumed. When our lives shift and our plans fall apart, when fear presses in and uncertainty leaves us weary, we rest in You, because You are not moved. Scripture assures us that Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever, and we place our full trust in Him. Do what You have spoken, for You have declared Your unchanging faithfulness over Your people, and Your purpose for us stands. Hold us together where we feel we are coming apart. We will not be consumed, for all power belongeth unto God, and nothing can undo what You have promised. Thank You for mercy that has not run out, and for love that has never let us go. Amen.
