Shared Prayer

O Lord God I praise You, Jehovah El Shaddai, the God who is more than enough for my family and for every day still ahead of us. Psalm 127 tells me plainly that children are an heritage of the Lord, and that the fruit of the womb is His reward, so I hold my children as a gift from Your hand and not as a burden I carry alone. Unless You build this house, my work is wasted, so I ask You to build it. Shape my home according to Your will, and teach my children to know Jesus and to walk in obedience to what You have spoken. When I am afraid for their future, remind me that the Lord of hosts is with me. When the days are hard and the pressure is heavy, help me to count it all joy, believing You are working in us. I declare in the name of Jesus that my children have a future and a hope, and that nothing can separate us from Your love. Thank You for loving them more deeply than I ever could, and for holding them when my hands cannot reach. Even so, come, Lord Jesus. Amen.
