Shared Prayer

Lord strong and mighty I praise You, for You are my keeper and my shield, and there is no safer place than under Your covering. Your word says in Proverbs 3:23 that I shall walk in my way safely, and that my foot shall not stumble. I stand on that promise now and ask You for real, practical safety over my life, my going out and my coming in. Guard my steps where the ground is uncertain. Keep me from harm I can see and from danger I cannot see. I rebuke every spirit of fear that whispers that something terrible is waiting for me, and I choose Your peace instead. I decree and declare that I am covered by Your hand, protected by Your presence, and kept by Your faithfulness. Teach me to walk in obedience to Your will, because safety is found in the path You mark out for me. Thank You for watching over me so closely, even when I do not sense it. Thank You that You never sleep and never turn away. I rest in Your care, confident that You are with me. In The Mighty and matchless name of Jesus. Amen.
