Shared Prayer

Heavenly Father We praise You, eternal God, for Your wisdom is perfect and Your purposes never fail. Scripture says that the end of a thing is better than its beginning, and that the patient in spirit is better than the proud in spirit. We believe You have purposed to complete the work You began in us, so we ask for patience that holds on when progress is slow and the waiting feels long. Guard us from pride that demands its own timing, and from weariness that wants to quit halfway through. We break agreement with impatience, bitterness, and every hurried choice made in fear. By the covenant of Christ, we trust You to carry us through what You have started and bring us to a better end than our beginning. Teach us to wait humbly before You and to be gentle with one another along the way. Thank You, Father, for Your patience with us, and for the hope that holds us until we see Your finished work. For it is in Jesus name we pray. Amen.
