Shared Prayer

Lord of all the earth I praise You, for You never sleep and never grow weary, and my help comes from You alone. Psalm 121 tells me that You preserve me from all evil, and that You preserve my soul. Your word also promises that You preserve my going out and my coming in, from this time forth, and even for evermore. So I stand on that promise now, and I ask You to guard every journey I take, every road, every mile, every arrival, and every return. I bind every spirit of fear that tries to grip my heart when I think about what could happen along the way. Keep me in Your will, and let me go only where You lead me. Lord of hosts, You are my keeper, and I trust Your covering over my life more than any danger I can imagine. I declare and decree that I travel under Your watchful care, safe in Your presence. Thank You for the peace You give me even before I set out. Thank You for watching over my soul, which no danger can touch while I am hidden in You. In Jesus' mighty name. Amen.
