Shared Prayer

Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty You are worthy of all praise and all trust. Your presence reaches every heart that turns to You with sincerity, and Your word assures us that You are near to all who call upon You in truth. We call upon You now, not with empty words but with genuine need and genuine faith. Where doubt has crept in, replace it with certainty. Where grief has made prayer feel distant, draw us close again. We believe You hear us, and we believe You answer. Your word declares that if God be for us, who can be against us, and so we come boldly, without shame. Satisfy us early with Your mercy, Lord, and let every dry and discouraged soul find You faithful. We are grateful that You are not a God who stands far off but One who draws near to those who seek You. For Yours, oh Lord, is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.
