Shared Prayer

Heavenly Father We lift up Your name, Lord of hosts, mighty beyond measure, and we praise You because every work You begin is carried through by Your Spirit. The word You spoke to Zerubbabel still stands, not by might, nor by power, but by Your Spirit. We admit that our own strength runs out quickly. We grow weary, we feel the weight of what we cannot fix, and we reach for answers that human hands alone can never give. Fill us instead with Your Holy Spirit. Accomplish what You have spoken over our lives, not because we are strong, but because Your Spirit is at work in us. We rebuke every spirit of self reliance and fear that whispers the mountain before us is too great. Keep our eyes on Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who leaves no work unfinished. Thank You for supplying the power we lack and for holding us when we have nothing left to give. In Jesus' mighty name. Amen.
