Shared Prayer

Holy One You call Your people to turn to the strong hold, even when we feel like prisoners of hope. Many are worn by waiting, pressed by bills, misunderstood at home, or carrying others while their own strength feels small. Draw us back to You as our refuge, and keep us from despair and bitterness. We come expecting Your promised restoring, and we ask You to render double grace, double strength, and double joy in place of loss. Let faith rise in us again, for lo, I am with you always is Your comfort to our souls. We refuse to look to fear as our guide, and we set our hope on Your word. We thank You for covenant mercy that does not fail, and we say with worship, great is thy faithfulness O Lord. In the name of Jesus. Amen.
