Shared Prayer

Divine Creator Your Word says You cover Your people, and under Your wings we trust, and Your truth is our shield and buckler. Many feel exposed, threatened, and worn by alarms, violence, and uncertain news. Cover the believer who walks through unsafe streets, the family sheltering from conflict, the servant caring for others while fear rises in private. Let Your truth silence lies that say we are alone or defenseless. We turn from sin and unbelief, wash us clean, and teach us to abide under Your covering. In the name of Jesus we say God is faithful, so we refuse panic and we choose trust. We also confess that with God nothing shall be impossible, so protect, keep, and preserve us according to Your promise. Thank You for being our sure defense and for holding us when we cannot hold ourselves. Hallelujah and Amen.
