Shared Prayer

O Gracious God You are worthy of all praise, for You are good and Your mercy endures forever. Your word declares that all have sinned and come short of Your glory. We do not stand before You with any claim of our own righteousness. We come as we are, in need of Your grace, in need of Your forgiveness, in need of the blood of Jesus that cleanses every stain. We confess that we have fallen short. We have chosen our own way, and we have come up empty. But You, in Your great love, sent Your Son to do what we could not do for ourselves. All things are possible to them that believeth, and so we place our full faith in the finished work of Christ. Father, if God be for us, who can be against us. We receive Your mercy and walk forward in the freedom You have purchased for us. Thank You for the gift of salvation. Thank You that grace is greater than every failure. With thankful hearts we pray. Amen.
