Shared Prayer

Lord, whose name is holy You call all the earth to lift a joyful sound to You, and we answer as one people redeemed by Your mercy. When our faces are heavy with grief, when pressure follows us into our homes, when some care for others and feel unseen, put praise back in our mouths and courage in our hearts. Teach us to worship You with gladness, not because life is easy, but because You are worthy. We say before You, great is thy faithfulness O Lord, and we trust You to keep our minds from fear and our tongues from complaining. Let our worship rise above shame, weariness, and distraction, until Your joy governs our steps. We thank You for hearing Your people, for sustaining us, and for reminding us that all power belongeth unto God. We will rejoice in the Lord always. Amen.
