Shared Prayer

Holy One You are glorious, You are faithful, and Your mercy stretches across every generation. We stand in awe of who You are. Your word declares that Your mercy rests on those who fear You, from generation to generation. We receive that mercy now. Where we have wandered, draw us back. Where hearts have grown cold or distant, kindle fresh reverence and love for You. Let the fear of the Lord be alive in us, not as dread, but as deep, wholehearted trust in You. We ask that Your mercy cover our children, and their children after them. Let no generation be left without the knowledge of Your grace. You are with us, O Lord, through every season and through every change, and we rest in that truth. We are grateful that Your mercy is not earned but freely given. According to Your word, we receive it with humble and thankful hearts. You never fail, and Your mercy never runs dry. In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus. Amen.
