Shared Prayer

Gracious Father We praise You, Lord, for being a God who wants to be found, and who welcomes every heart that turns to You. Your word calls us to seek You and find You when we search for You with all our heart, and we take that promise as our own. So we come without pretending, bringing weariness, fear, and the quiet loneliness we carry. Search us and remove whatever divides our hearts, that we may want You more than anything else. Teach us to seek Your will and to obey what You have spoken, not merely to ask for what we want. When distraction pulls us away, we bind every spirit of spiritual dullness and half-hearted seeking, and we press on to know You. Give us confidence that no one who seeks You wholeheartedly is turned away. Thank You for meeting us with mercy again and again, for God is faithful, and You never hide from a searching heart. For it is in Jesus name we pray. Amen.
