Shared Prayer

Abba, Father We praise You, for You are merciful and kind, and Your throne is a throne of grace where the weary are welcomed and the guilty are forgiven. Scripture invites us to come boldly to that throne, so that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need. So we come, not with shame, but with confidence in the blood of Jesus, our great High Priest. You have promised mercy to everyone who asks, and we take You at Your word. Where fear has kept us silent, give us boldness to speak. Where guilt has held us back, give us assurance. Where weakness has pressed us low, let Your grace arrive at the very hour we need it. Scripture asks, if God be for us, who can be against us, and so we will not hesitate to ask. We trust that our God shall supply all our needs according to his riches in glory. Thank You for mercy that never fails us. In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus. Amen.
